Plan the journey to your accommodation alongside the return for your flight. A direct ride can end at your address, while public transport may require reaching a station and buying a separate onward ticket. If your trip ends in another part of the country, consider flying home from a different airport too, including the car return conditions if you rent.

| Access with luggage | Aerodrom railway station is about 1.7 km from the terminal. Allow roughly a 25-minute walk before boarding. |

01.1Arriving through Podgorica
Arriving through Podgorica
The bus to Podgorica and onward connections
The bus gets you to Podgorica without walking to the railway station. It picks up outside the terminal and takes you to the main bus station on Trg Golootočkih žrtava. From there, you can take an intercity bus if your first accommodation is elsewhere. These are two separate journeys, so check the wait for the onward service when choosing your flight.
If you are staying in Podgorica, compare your accommodation address with the bus station location. Reaching the station may still leave a journey to your hotel or apartment. For a group, a taxi to the door can be more practical than buying separate tickets and taking another local ride.
The train to Podgorica or Kolašin
The train can suit travelers with light luggage when the next departure fits their plans. The stop named Aerodrom is about a 25-minute walk away. The short train ride ends at Podgorica railway station, beside the bus station. You can change to another train or bus there if your destination requires it.
For a stay in Kolašin, check the direct local trains from the same stop. These avoid changing trains in Podgorica. Your hotel or ski area may be some distance from Kolašin railway station, so plan the final journey to your accommodation too.
A taxi or transfer to your first address
A direct ride from the terminal can suit you if you are staying outside Podgorica or there is no convenient public transport connection after your flight. Ask for the price to your full address, particularly if the bus would leave another local or intercity journey to complete.
A group of four adults illustrates the difference. One Zejdin Tours bus booking through ShowMeBus totals €17, made up of four €3 tickets, four mandatory €1 check-in charges and one €1 booking fee. MonteGo Drive lists €20 per vehicle for up to four passengers to central Podgorica. The bus ends at the bus station. For the transfer, confirm the address and space for your luggage. You can then compare what remains of the journey to your accommodation.
Renting a car for the rest of your trip
Collecting a car at the airport covers both your journey to your accommodation and the rest of your Montenegro trip. It is particularly useful when changing bases or planning outings that do not fit public transport timetables. If you are spending your first few nights in Podgorica, also compare a rental that starts later, when you leave the city.
01.2Returning to Podgorica Airport
Returning to Podgorica Airport
From your final base to the terminal
Direct local trains run from Kolašin to Aerodrom station, with a regular second-class fare of €3.60. The checked return services take about 1 hour 42–57 minutes. In the Kolašin–Aerodrom search, select your date and a direct service. Get off at Aerodrom station, then allow about 1.7 km, or a 25-minute walk, to the terminal.
If you reach Podgorica by bus from your final base, you need a separate connection to TGD. The Podgorica–Aerodrom train costs €1.20 in second class and takes about 7 minutes, plus the wait and final walk. For an early flight, compare the first workable arrival with your airline’s reporting time. If they do not fit, a direct transfer or a final night in Podgorica avoids a tight connection. The Kolašin example does not cover Žabljak, which needs its own overland connection.
Returning your rental car
The return point may be by the terminal or at the rental company’s premises. Allow for the vehicle inspection and any shuttle ride to the terminal. For an early flight, confirm the out-of-hours procedure. An unattended car return is not available on the same terms from every company.
01.3Buses, trains and parking in Podgorica
Buses, trains and parking in Podgorica
The bus outside the terminal
The bus stop is outside the terminal in the bus area. Zejdin Tours runs directly to Podgorica’s main bus station on Trg Golootočkih žrtava. Example journeys take about 11–16 minutes on the bus. That gets you to the station, so allow separately for the journey to your hotel or another town.
For one adult, ticket seller ShowMeBus lists a €3 basic fare in its airport departure offer. Mandatory online check-in costs €1 per passenger, with a €1 fee per booking. That totals €5 for one person, without optional extras. With more passengers on the same booking, the booking fee is shared. These are the charges for this seller and service, rather than a common fare for all buses.
Select the direct Podgorica Airport Bus Stop–Podgorica Main Bus Station service. Search results also include connections via Bar with a change, which are different from this short city journey. Compare departure time with when you expect to leave the terminal. Waiting for the next bus adds to the journey time.
In the return direction, Zejdin lists an example journey of about 11 minutes from the main bus station to the airport stop. For one adult, the basic fare is €3 and the online total with the same mandatory charges is €5. In the search for services to the airport stop, choose Podgorica Main Bus Station as your departure point and select your date. Check the return departure separately against your flight.
The train from Aerodrom station
The low train fare comes with a walk worth considering before setting off with suitcases. Aerodrom station is about 1.7 km from the terminal, or a 25-minute walk. Second class to Podgorica costs €1.20 per passenger and takes about 7 minutes. Some departures are almost three hours apart, so the overall journey depends largely on which train you can catch. The Aerodrom–Podgorica timetable lets you add the walk and wait to the train ride.
Direct local trains also run from Aerodrom station to Kolašin. The checked services have a regular second-class fare of €3.60 and take about 1 hour 38–49 minutes, without a required change in Podgorica. In the Aerodrom–Kolašin search, choose a direct service for your date. Options via Bar or with long waits are different journeys. Kolašin station is about 1.5 km from the center, so arrange transport to your hotel or ski resort separately.
For the return from Podgorica, select the Podgorica–Aerodrom direction and allow for the walk from the station to the terminal. You can confirm departures with Podgorica railway station on +382 20 441 211. If the walk is unsuitable for your luggage or assistance needs, choose transport to the terminal.
Parking your own car
Airport parking for a passenger car costs €1.50 for each hour or part of an hour, with an €8 daily ticket. If someone is collecting you, distinguish the parking charge from the cost of the ride itself. For a rental car, the company’s agreement sets the handover point.

Recommended transport from Podgorica Airport
A rental car for several regions
A car collected at TGD can suit a trip with several bases when public transport does not fit your planned outings. For collection in Podgorica and return in Tivat, ask for confirmed one-way rental and its total price.
Taxis and pre-booked transfers from TGD
For a ride to Podgorica, Zeta Taxi lists a €20 fare. Contact the service on +382 67 995 757. For accommodation on the coast or in the mountains, compare the price of the whole journey to your address. A direct transfer avoids changing in Podgorica if your chosen public transport route requires it. It can also be worth comparing for a group or an arrival after the last convenient bus or train.
Another option is MonteGo Drive, whose published prices for selected destinations appear in the table above. They cover a single ride from TGD in a vehicle for up to four passengers. The operator states that tolls and airport parking are included. For a larger group, extra stops or another address, request a separate quote on +382 68 378 898.
Prices also vary by operator and vehicle class. Travel to Montenegro – TTM lists €55 to Budva and €80 to Kotor per Comfort-class vehicle for up to three passengers. Contact +382 69 949 197. Compare quotes for the same group and luggage, and arrange the return to TGD as a separate ride.
02Tivat Airport
TIV is a natural choice for a trip starting in the Bay of Kotor or around Budva. Tivat is about 4 km from the airport, Kotor 8 km and Budva 21 km. For accommodation on the Luštica peninsula at the entrance to the bay, compare the exact address and road access.

Transport drawbacks and limitations at Tivat Airport
| Intercity bus | |
|---|---|
| From the terminal to the station | Tivat’s main bus station at Bonići 1 is about 1.4 km from the terminal. Allow a 20-minute walk or a separate taxi ride. |
| What the bus ticket covers | A ticket to Budva or another town covers travel from the bus station. It does not include getting from the airport to the boarding point. |
02.1Arriving through Tivat
Arriving through Tivat
Transport to Tivat, Kotor and Budva
For accommodation in Tivat, Kotor or Budva, a taxi or pre-booked transfer ends the airport journey at your agreed address. A bus requires you to reach a separate station first and may still leave a journey to your accommodation afterward. Being close to Tivat says little about the drive to the other end of the bay. Ask for a quote to your specific destination. For a pedestrian area, agree on the nearest accessible drop-off point.
Continuing by intercity bus
An intercity bus can suit travelers seeking a lower fare to Budva or another town, provided a published departure fits. Boarding is at Tivat’s main bus station at Bonići 1, outside the airport. Before buying a ticket, decide how you will cover that first stretch with your luggage. If you need a taxi to the station, include its cost for your group when comparing the bus with a direct transfer to your accommodation.
02.2Returning to Tivat Airport
Returning to Tivat Airport
From the bay or Budva to your flight
From Budva, a separately checked return service by the operator 4 Decembar in the Budva–Tivat offer takes 37 minutes and totals €5.35 online for one adult, made up of a €5 ticket and €0.35 processing fee. Hand luggage up to 5 kg is included. Additional luggage is paid for on the bus. The bus ends at Tivat’s main station in Bonići, leaving about 1.4 km, or a 20-minute walk, to the terminal. A taxi for that stretch costs extra.
For this example, allow roughly an hour on the bus and on foot, then add the wait for departure and your required arrival time before the flight. With a large suitcase or an early flight, compare a direct ride from your address. If you finish your stay elsewhere in the bay, check that location’s return connection. The Budva fare and journey time do not apply to the whole bay.
Returning the car before your flight
For a rental ending in Tivat, confirm the precise return location and any shuttle ride to the terminal. If you collected the car in Podgorica, return in Tivat must be included in the accepted booking. Allow time for inspection and handover before your recommended airport reporting time.
02.3Tivat bus station and airport parking
Tivat bus station and airport parking
Buses from Tivat’s main bus station
Tivat’s main bus station is at Bonići 1, about 1.4 km from the airport terminal. Getting there takes roughly 20 minutes on foot or a separate taxi ride. The intercity ticket covers the journey from the station specified in your booking. Plan the journey there from the airport separately.
For Budva, an example 4 Decembar service on BusTicket4.me totals €6.35 for one adult, made up of a €5 fare, €1 station charge and €0.35 processing fee. Hand luggage up to 5 kg is included. Additional luggage is paid for on the bus. The example takes 33 minutes from Tivat bus station to Budva bus station. With the walk from the airport, that is about 55 minutes in motion, before waiting for the bus and continuing to your accommodation.
If you plan to take a taxi to the station, ask for its price separately. The €6.35 would then no longer cover the whole onward journey from the airport. For a group, compare all the tickets plus that taxi with one direct transfer.
Parking at the airport
Parking Servis Tivat operates the airport car park. A passenger car costs €2 for each hour or part of an hour, with a €15 daily charge. This is the airport parking tariff, separate from Tivat’s street parking zones. For collection and longer stays, check the operator’s price list.
02.4Recommended transport from Tivat Airport
Recommended transport from Tivat Airport
A rental car for the bay and beyond
Collecting a car in Tivat can suit a trip that continues inland after the coast or includes several places to stay. For a stay in one coastal town, consider parking at your accommodation too. Days when the car stays parked still count toward the rental period. Collecting it later for the part of the trip with outings is another option.
Taxis from the airport
One option is Red Taxi, which lists transfers from TIV to Kotor Old Town for €30, Budva for €45 and Herceg Novi for €70 per vehicle. These are this operator’s prices for the named destinations. Dobrota, Prčanj and other places around the bay have separate entries, so provide your full accommodation address as well as the town.
The Tivat contact number is +382 67 019 729. When booking collection, give your flight number, group size, luggage and destination. Confirm the return transfer for your accommodation address and flight.
03Dubrovnik Airport
DBV is in Croatia and can suit a trip that visits Dubrovnik before Herceg Novi and the western Bay of Kotor. Reaching Montenegro involves a border crossing. For a stay entirely in the bay, compare the whole overland journey with flying to Tivat.

DBV is in Croatia and can suit a trip that visits Dubrovnik before Herceg Novi and the western Bay of Kotor. Reaching Montenegro involves a border crossing. For a stay entirely in the bay, compare the whole overland journey with flying to Tivat.
Transport drawbacks and limitations at Dubrovnik Airport
| Bus via Dubrovnik | |
|---|---|
| Separate tickets | The Platanus ticket covers travel only as far as Dubrovnik. Herceg Novi and other Montenegrin towns require a separate international departure from Gruž. |
| Time between services | The time shown for the two bus rides excludes waiting for the airport bus and changing buses in Gruž. |
| Border crossing | |
| Getting back for your flight | Traveling from Montenegro to DBV involves re-entering Croatia. Border delays cannot be reduced to a fixed number of minutes in advance. |
03.1Arriving through Dubrovnik
Arriving through Dubrovnik
Direct transport across the border
For a ride from the terminal to Herceg Novi or farther around the bay, request a service that explicitly includes travel into Montenegro. Compare the total for all passengers and your full address. Border processing times vary, so an estimated drive does not represent the whole journey to your accommodation.
The bus via Dubrovnik
Platanus connects the airport with Dubrovnik and the main bus station in Gruž. From Gruž, a separate international bus continues into Montenegro if a suitable service runs on your date. This option involves a change and two tickets.
03.2Returning from Montenegro to DBV
Returning from Montenegro to DBV
Crossing the border before your flight
When returning to Croatia, the entry conditions for your passport and any required visa apply again. For an early flight, consider crossing the day before and spending the night in Croatia.
From Gruž to the terminal
For the return, an example Herceg Novi–Dubrovnik service by Božur/Čazmatrans takes about 1 hour 15 minutes. The final BusTicket4.me total for one adult is €25.50, made up of a €24 fare and €1.50 processing fee. Hand luggage up to 5 kg is included. Additional luggage is paid for on the bus.
At Gruž, continue with Platanus from platform 8, following the airport timetable. The ticket costs €10 per passenger and the ride takes about 35 minutes. This return example totals €35.50 for one person, with about 1 hour 50 minutes on the buses. Add your journey to Herceg Novi bus station, the wait between services and a border allowance. From another Montenegrin town, select its own connection to Dubrovnik.
03.3Buses via Gruž and parking at DBV
Buses via Gruž and parking at DBV
Platanus from the terminal to Gruž
Platanus leaves by the arrivals exit at the Shuttle bus sign and runs via Ploče to the main bus station in Gruž. A one-way ticket costs €10 per passenger and the ride to Gruž takes about 35 minutes. Departure is usually around 30 minutes after the flight arrives, so those 35 minutes are not the total from landing. Buy a ticket online or at the Platanus sales desk before boarding.
From Gruž, select a separate Dubrovnik–Herceg Novi bus. A checked Božur/Čazmatrans example on BusTicket4.me totals €25 for one adult, made up of a €24 ticket and €1 processing fee. With the €10 Platanus ticket, the journey from the airport to Herceg Novi bus station totals €35. This example includes hand luggage up to 5 kg on the international bus. Additional luggage is paid for on the bus.
The international ride in this example takes about an hour. With 35 minutes on Platanus, that is roughly 1 hour 35 minutes on the buses, before waiting at the airport, changing in Gruž and any longer border delay. Check that the services connect before buying two separate tickets. Plan the journey from Herceg Novi station to your accommodation for your specific address.
Parking and rental car return
Parking for 10 minutes to one hour in P1, P2 or P5 costs €4 from May to October and €3 from November to April. For longer stays, P10 has a daily rate of €13 in summer and €8 in winter. A 12–24-hour stay in P1/P2/P5 costs €20 or €14 respectively. Choosing a different zone therefore changes the bill even for the same length of stay.
The applicable tariff depends on the day you exit the car park. For a stay crossing the seasonal change, enter your exact dates in the airport parking calculator. Parking your own car is separate from returning a rental car. The rental company sets the return point and procedure.
03.4Recommended transport from Dubrovnik Airport
Recommended transport from Dubrovnik Airport
Renting in Croatia for a trip to Montenegro
A rental can suit a route through both countries if the company approves it for your specific car. Before booking, clarify the permitted territory, insurance, required documents and extra charges. Confirm the return location separately. Permission to cross the border does not mean you can return the car in Tivat or Podgorica.
A pre-booked ride to Montenegro
For a direct DBV–Herceg Novi journey, Kovačević Prevoz lists €100 for a sedan and an estimate of about 60 minutes. The price is per vehicle for this direction. Border waiting time cannot be guaranteed. This can suit you if you do not need a car during your stay and want to avoid changing in Gruž.
Send an inquiry using the route page’s form or call +382 67 017 099. Give your exact address in or around Herceg Novi, passenger numbers, luggage and flight. For the return, select a ride toward DBV and ask for a confirmed collection time. Do not treat the inbound estimate as a promise of reaching your departing flight.
04Tirana Airport
TIA is in Albania and provides access to Ulcinj and southern Montenegro by direct bus or a pre-booked cross-border ride. It can also suit a trip combining Albania and Montenegro. Traveling via Shkodër is a separate option if you want to stay there or the direct bus does not fit your flight.

Transport drawbacks and limitations at Tirana Airport
| Direct bus and connections via Shkodër | |
|---|---|
| Different stops in Ulcinj | The checked inbound example ends at Ulcinj main bus station. The return bus in Diamant Travel’s offer leaves from Kallaba Petrol, so check the boarding point on your ticket. |
| Flights and the overnight return | Evening departures from Ulcinj reach TIA around midnight or later. For a morning flight, check the departure date and time left before the airport reporting deadline. |
| Changing stops | Hermes and the Ulcinj buses use different stops in Shkodër. On the arrival route described, Hotel Rozafa is about 700 m and a ten-minute walk from the Hermes stop. On the return, Buna Bridge is about 3.5 km and a 50-minute walk from Hermes. A taxi instead costs extra. |
| Confirming departure times | Published Hermes timetables differ. Before choosing a flight, confirm the Hermes bus departure and the separate onward connection to Montenegro. |
| Cross-border connections | |
| Returning via Shkodër | The return requires a bus from Montenegro, a journey to the Hermes stop and a bus to TIA. The border crossing can lengthen the first leg. |
04.1Arriving through Tirana
Arriving through Tirana
Direct travel to southern Montenegro
For Ulcinj, Donji Štoj or Ada Bojana, compare a direct cross-border transfer with arriving at TGD. Ask for a quote to the exact entrance of your accommodation, especially outside Ulcinj. A fare to the town may not cover the remaining drive to Štoj or Ada Bojana.
A direct bus or a connection via Shkodër
If you want to go straight to Montenegro, first compare the departure time of the direct bus to Ulcinj bus station with your landing time. The bus ends at the station, leaving a separate local journey for accommodation in Donji Štoj or on Ada Bojana. A connection through Shkodër can also make sense if you plan to stay in that city.
Hermes connects the airport with Shkodër without requiring a trip into Tirana. Continuing into Montenegro requires another confirmed connection. If none leaves after you arrive, include a night in Shkodër or a direct ride to Montenegro when choosing your flight.
04.2Returning from Montenegro to TIA
Returning from Montenegro to TIA
The direct bus from Ulcinj to the airport
Diamant Travel’s return offer names the departure point as Ulcinj – Kallaba Petrol (Magistrala), beside the E851 road. This is different from the main bus station where the inbound bus may arrive. You first need to get from your accommodation to the Kallaba Petrol stop on the main road. Use the map for your specific departure and confirm the boarding point on your ticket. The other petrol station with the same name on Bulevar Teuta is a different location. The bus then runs without a change to Tirana Airport – International Bus Stop, with a scheduled journey of about 2 hours 30 minutes.
In this ShowMeBus offer, the basic fare for one adult is €25. Adding the mandatory €1 check-in charge per passenger and €1 fee per booking gives an online total of €27, without optional extras. In the search for services to the airport, select your Ulcinj departure point and date, then compare the confirmed stop and full price breakdown.
An example 21.30 departure is scheduled to arrive around midnight, while a 23.00 service arrives around 01.30 the following day. For a morning flight, book such an evening departure for the previous day. Walking directions from the international stop at the Alpet petrol station to the airport show about 350 m and five minutes. Add that walk and any border delay before the airline’s reporting time. If the connection does not work, arrive in Albania earlier or arrange a private transfer.
From your accommodation via Shkodër to the airport
One return example is Barileva Turist’s bus from Ulcinj main bus station to Buna Bridge, by the bridge over the Bojana River in Shkodër. In the Ulcinj–Shkodër offer, an 08.00 departure is scheduled to arrive at 10.00. Gjirafa Travel’s final online total for one adult is €11, made up of a €10 ticket and a mandatory €1 seller’s fee, without optional extras.
Barileva’s stop by the bridge is separate from the Hermes stop for the airport. To reach Hermes on Rruga Marin Biçikemi, walking directions from Buna Bridge show about 3.5 km and 50 minutes via Rruga Agron/SH1 and Mehmet Pashë Plaku boulevard. This adds a substantial stretch with luggage. If that walk does not suit you, arrange a taxi to the Hermes address and add its price to the fares.
The regular Hermes Shkodër–TIA fare is listed as ALL 1,000 or €10 per passenger, with about two hours on the bus. With the walk between stations, the two fares total €21 for one adult. That means about 4 hours 50 minutes on the buses and walking through Shkodër, plus around five minutes from the airport bus area to the terminal. Waiting for Hermes and any longer border delay are excluded.
For a morning flight, the route via Shkodër requires two buses and a walk between stops, while the overnight bus from Ulcinj goes directly to TIA. Confirm the next Hermes departure and fare on +355 67 609 0109, because published timetables differ. Its early services at 03.00 and 05.30 have a published fare of ALL 1,300 or €13, so the regular €21 total does not apply to those.
Early flights and rental car return
For an early flight from Tirana, consider a final night in Albania, particularly if your airport journey involves the border or two buses. With a rental, confirm where and when to return the car and how you will reach the terminal. If you collected it in Montenegro, returning it in Albania must be arranged separately.
04.3The direct Ulcinj bus, Shkodër connections and parking
The direct Ulcinj bus, Shkodër connections and parking
Direct from the airport to Ulcinj
Diamant Travel runs directly from Tirana Airport – International Bus Stop to Ulcinj bus station. The boarding point in the offer is by the Alpet petrol station on the airport approach road. Walking directions from the airport show about 350 m and five minutes via the car park and Rruga e Aeroportit/SH60. Leave the terminal into the public parking area first and follow the precise stop map. The bus journey in this example takes about 2 hours 30 minutes, without changing in Shkodër.
For one adult, ShowMeBus’s €20 basic fare becomes €22 in total. Mandatory online check-in costs €1 per passenger, with a €1 fee per booking. Optional extra services are excluded from this example. In the search for airport departures, select Ulcinj Bus Station and your travel date, then check the final breakdown for the chosen service.
For boarding, use the international airport stop location in the specific offer. Tirana East Bus Terminal is a station in the city and a different departure point. When arriving in Ulcinj, check whether your ticket names the main bus station or Kallaba Petrol as your arrival stop. Either stop leaves a separate local journey to your accommodation. If the direct service does not fit your flight, the connection via Shkodër is explained below.
Where to board for Shkodër
The airport bus station is beside P1 parking. Walking directions from the terminal to the zone marked on the Hermes map show about 400 m and five minutes. The direct Hermes service to Shkodër has a regular fare of ALL 1,000 or €10 per passenger. Its 05.00 departure is listed at ALL 1,300 or €13. Allow about two hours on the bus to Shkodër, excluding the wait. The operator’s maps mark the airport departure point and arrival point in Shkodër.
In Shkodër, Hermes uses a location on Rruga Marin Biçikemi. The number and times of departures differ even between parts of the operator’s website, while the airport lists a smaller selection. Confirm the departure for your date on +355 67 609 0109 or through Hermes booking.
From the Hermes stop to the Ulcinj bus
One onward option for Ulcinj is Drita Travel’s bus from the stop by Hotel Rozafa on Rruga Teuta in central Shkodër. In the Shkodër–Ulcinj offer, an example 14.30 service arrives at Ulcinj main bus station at 16.00. Gjirafa Travel’s final total for one adult is €19.80, made up of an €18 ticket and a mandatory €1.80 seller’s fee, without optional extras.
Hermes arrives from the airport at its stop on Rruga Marin Biçikemi. From there to Hotel Rozafa, walking directions show about 700 m and ten minutes via Skënderbeu boulevard and Rruga Teuta. This is a separate walk between the two buses. After Hermes arrives, leave time to reach and board the Drita service.
With the regular €10 Hermes fare, the two bus tickets in this example total €29.80 for one adult. The described bus journeys and walk through Shkodër add up to about 3 hours 40 minutes. Adding five minutes to reach the airport bus area gives roughly 3 hours 45 minutes for these journeys and walks. Waiting for both departures, border delays beyond the scheduled journey and the journey to your accommodation add to that time. If you take a taxi between stops or carry extra chargeable luggage, ask for those costs separately. The return uses a different stop, as explained in the previous section.
Different parking zones
For a quick drop-off, Kiss & Fly allows the first 5 minutes free. If you are waiting to collect passengers, P1 costs ALL 300 for up to 3 hours, while P2 and P3 each cost ALL 200 for up to 2 hours. These are parking periods, separate from the brief free stop.
For 12–24 hours, P1 costs ALL 1,500, while P2 and P3 each cost ALL 500. Each subsequent daily rate is the same for the respective zone. For a car left during your trip, that difference matters more than the short-stay collection price. The TIA parking prices and plan show the zones and applicable conditions. Arrange rental car return with your rental company.

Renting in Albania for a two-country trip
Collecting a car in Tirana can suit a trip through Albania and Montenegro if the company approves the whole route. For your specific vehicle, ask for confirmation of cross-border use, insurance, required documents and extra charges. Returning it in Montenegro is a separate service requiring explicit confirmation. Border permission does not include it.
A direct cross-border transfer
For a direct TIA–Ulcinj ride, Kovačević Prevoz lists a sedan from €170 per vehicle with an estimate of about 150 minutes. Compared with the connection via Shkodër, a direct transfer avoids two bus journeys and the walk between stops. Border waiting can still lengthen the trip. This is not a common fare for all airport taxis.
To book, use the form for that route or call +382 67 017 099. Štoj and Ada Bojana are different destinations from Ulcinj. Give the full address and request a total for your group. For the return, add your TIA flight date and time and confirm collection in Montenegro.
For collection in Montenegro, browse the cars and choose a location and dates. Compare the booking conditions with your arrival plans.
