The booking price, deposit and damage excess are different obligations. The contract and handover record should show the charges, cover and condition of the car you receive.
Record scratches, dents and damage to glass and wheels before leaving. Photos should also show where each mark is on the car.

The Njegusi road descends towards Kotor, while the main Budva road reaches the Budva Riviera. Rijeka Crnojevica is in the lake district of Cetinje municipality, away from the town centre.
Where a rental car helps
A museum day does not require driving between buildings. Align car hire with trips to Lovcen or the lake district, and arrange parking at your accommodation.
Museums and excursions
A large relief map of Montenegro occupies the Biljarda courtyard. Mountains, valleys and parts of neighbouring countries appear in the model, adding a geographical view to a museum visit.
Cetinje’s former embassies recall its role as a diplomatic capital. Many now serve other institutions. Seeing a historic facade does not mean the building is open as a museum.
The National Museum has several collections at separate addresses, including King Nikola’s Palace, Biljarda and Government House. Njegos’s birthplace is in Njegusi and his mausoleum is on Lovcen, outside the town centre.
The National Museum offers individual and combined tickets with different coverage. A museum ticket does not automatically include Cetinje Monastery or Lipa Cave.
King Nikola’s Palace, Biljarda and the Art Museum in Government House offer indoor displays, with walks between buildings. The Historical Museum is currently closed to visitors. Rain can also reduce visibility on the mountain road to Lovcen.
The mausoleum is on Jezerski Vrh, outside Cetinje, reached by a separate mountain road. The final approach has steps. It is not part of the town-centre walking circuit.
Visits take place on a guided tour. The cave is outside town, so arrival at its parking area must fit the tour departure. The interior remains cold even in summer.
Intercity buses connect Cetinje with Podgorica and Budva. Arrival at the town station does not include onward travel to the mausoleum, Njegusi or the cave. Arrange that separately.
