Before arrival
The sea around Katic and Sveta Nedjelja forms part of Katic Nature Park, designated in 2021. The islets belong to a protected coastal and marine area.
Both islands are visible from the waterfront and Kastio. Sveta Nedjelja has a church. To approach the islands, arrange a boat outing and confirm what the trip actually includes.
Petrovac has a town beach by the promenade, Lucice in the neighboring cove and Buljarica farther south. That offers several different beach days from one base. For extensive historic town centers, plan a separate visit to Budva or Kotor.
The town beach, promenade and Kastio are accessible on foot. A car gives more freedom for other beaches, Stari Bar and Lake Skadar. Local buses can provide an alternative toward Budva.
Parking Servis Budva operates car parks in Petrovac, but this does not guarantee a free space or vehicle access to the beach itself. When traveling with someone with limited mobility, confirm the exact approach, drop-off point and remaining walking route beforehand.
Yes. Lucice has fine sand and a shallower entry to the sea in a cove between two headlands. Pine and cypress trees grow behind it, but the whole beach is not shaded. Waves on the day also affect swimming conditions.
Spend a day in Petrovac and at your chosen beach, and another at Lucice or Buljarica. With a further sightseeing day, choose the northbound Budva outing or the southbound Stari Bar and lake trip rather than adding both to a swimming day.
The mosaics lie at the Miriste archaeological site rather than in a regular museum display with standard visiting arrangements. Conservation and presentation are not fully established. Check current viewing access before going.
