Where to park in Petrovac
Public parking spaces are scarce in central Petrovac, and some parking areas belong to hotels. Hotel parking may be restricted to guests, which matters if you are visiting the town beach for the day. Lucice and Buljarica have separate parking locations by their beaches.

01Hotel parking in central Petrovac
A hotel stay in central Petrovac offers different parking arrangements, from spaces outside the property to a garage.

Palas reserves the parking outside the hotel for its guests. The price is €15 per day when spaces are available. Amfora's garage is free for hotel guests, while Castellastva charges extra for parking. Arrange the price and terms of Vile Oliva's private parking with reception.

Lucice has a separate parking location by the beach, at Petrovac na Moru bb.

Parking Lucice and Hotel Plaza Lucice are different destinations. For a beach visit, the link leads to the parking location rather than hotel reception.
03Parking by Buljarica
The parking area by Buljarica is in the settlement of Buljarica, outside central Petrovac.

This parking area is a separate location from the camper campsite and overnight stay area at Buljarica. A campsite stay price is not the price of leaving a car in this parking area.
Parking charges, penalty notices and towing
The legal fine for parking in a prohibited place or obstructing traffic ranges from €100 to €300. A penalty notice imposes the minimum amount in that range. It is separate from a charge for unpaid zone parking.
Paying a penalty notice
If you accept responsibility, the regular procedure allows you to pay half the fine within eight days of accepting the notice. A €100 penalty would therefore cost €50.
An exception applies to a person without permanent or temporary residence in Montenegro, or someone leaving the country, when the competent authority has reasonable grounds to suspect that they will evade enforcement. In that case, two-thirds of the fine must be paid without delay. Use the amount and payment instructions on your own notice.
