A hire price, security deposit and damage excess are separate amounts. The agreement and inspection record should make the charges, insurance cover and vehicle condition clear.
Add scratches, dents and damage to windows or wheels to the inspection record before departure. Include wider photographs identifying their position on the car.

Petar Lubarda, Milo Milunovic and Dado Djuric are among the Yugoslav artists represented in the Modern Gallery.
The stations are on Trg Golootockih zrtava, a different place from Trg nezavisnosti in the centre.
Walk from Stara Varos’s Clock Tower down to the Ribnica-Moraca confluence, then continue towards Trg nezavisnosti and Njegosev Park. Add Millennium Bridge and Gorica Hill if you have time for a longer visit.
A full day allows a city visit. If you retain your accommodation here, add separate days for Lake Skadar, Cetinje or Ostrog. Allow for the outward and return journeys rather than treating them as extensions of a short central walk.
The central city can be visited without one. Doclea and trips further afield need separate transport. For Lake Skadar, Cetinje or Ostrog, compare public connections, an organised excursion and car hire, including the return journey that day.
Konoba Lanterna is at Kralja Nikole 36. Check the current menu for popeci and japraci by name. The description local cuisine does not guarantee that both dishes will be available.
The cascade is on the Cijevna at Kuce Rakica. Its flow weakens in summer and may disappear during dry spells. Photographs from wetter periods do not guarantee the same sight during your visit. Check recent conditions before travelling out.
We recommend April, May or October for longer visits to Stara Varos and the Roman site of Duklja. In 2025, Podgorica recorded 92 nights when the temperature did not fall below 20°C. For a long walk in July or August, an early start is therefore a better choice than relying on the evening to bring relief from the heat.
