01Parking for the waterfront and marina
For a visit to the marina, there is a public car park beside the Port Authority on Marsala Tita Street. For the waterfront and the park by King Nikola's Palace, there are also car parks on Jovana Tomasevica Street, behind Gradska Kafana and beside Mornar.
Car park by the Port Authority, Marsala Tita Street
The Port Authority car park and the listed car parks on Jovana Tomasevica are in Zone I of the published list. The marked street bays on Popa Dukljanina, between Marsala Tita and Jovana Tomasevica, are also in this zone.
The published Zone I rate is €0.50 per hour or part of an hour. The public-zone tariff does not represent the price of any private parking within the marina.
02Parking for the centre and Green Market
For shopping at the Green Market, there are parking areas between the market and Trgovacka Street, and behind the market towards the boulevard. The street bays on Trgovacka extend from Makedonska to Branimira Baje Bajkovica Street.
Car park by the Green Market, Trgovacka Street
These parking areas are in Zone II. For visits to the municipal offices or the Basic Court, there are car parks behind those buildings on Rista Lekica Street in the same zone. Parking for Vladimir and Kosara Square on Jovana Stojanovica Street is in Zone I, so the zones differ even within the centre.
The published rates are €0.40 in Zone II and €0.50 in Zone I per hour or part of an hour. For four hours billed in this way, the price list would give €1.60 by the market or €2.00 at the car park by the square. This is a calculation based on the published rates, not confirmation that charges are currently collected.
03Parking around SRC Topolica
For the sports hall, use the parking areas around SRC Topolica on Scepana Malog Street and the surrounding streets. Parking beside the hall is a separate location from the car park in front of the Madzarica sports grounds on Jovana Tomasevica.
Parking by SRC Topolica, Scepana Malog Street and surrounding car parks
The parking areas around SRC Topolica and the car park in front of Madzarica are listed in Zone I. For an event in the hall, the first choice is the area around the hall. The Madzarica car park serves another part of the sports complex.
The published Zone I rate is €0.50 per hour or part of an hour.
04Parking for Old Bar
To park below the walls of Old Bar, there is a parking area by the bazaar and a car park by the town gate. The parking area is on the southern approach to the bazaar, while the gate car park is closer to the entrance to the old town.

Car park by the Old Town Gate, Old Bar
Both car parks are in Zone I. The official list for Old Bar also includes parking by the market and by the sports grounds. These are separate parking options when the main area or the gate car park is full.
The published Zone I rate is €0.50 per hour or part of an hour. A free-parking label on an individual Maps profile does not confirm the current price throughout the parking area in Old Bar.
05Parking at Zukotrlica in Susanj
For Zukotrlica beach, public parking is between the promenade and the main road in Susanj. This location on the seaward side is separate from parking provided by accommodation and other businesses across the main road.
Zukotrlica car park, between the promenade and the main road in Susanj
This car park is in Zone I. Parking provided by accommodation for its guests has separate access conditions and is not a public alternative when the beach car park is full.
The published Zone I rate is €0.50 per hour or part of an hour. The name 'Slobodni Parking' on the Maps profile identifies the location and does not confirm that parking is free.
Parking charges, penalty notices and vehicle towing
The statutory fine for prohibited parking or obstructing traffic is €100-€300. A penalty notice specifies the minimum sum in this range. This fine is distinct from the parking charge for an unpaid street-zone ticket.
Paying a penalty notice
Under the usual procedure, accepting responsibility allows payment of half the fine within eight days of accepting the notice. For a €100 notice, the reduced amount is €50.
There is an exception for someone with no permanent or temporary residence in Montenegro, or someone leaving the country, if the competent authority reasonably suspects that enforcement will be evaded. In those circumstances, two-thirds of the fine is payable without delay. Follow the sum and payment details on the notice issued to you.
If you cannot find the car, check with Komunalne djelatnosti Bar whether the towing service has removed it. The vehicle operations department can be reached on +382 30 311 418 and +382 30 313 957. Before setting off, confirm where the vehicle is, where to collect it and the removal costs.

Questions about parking in Bar
Who can confirm the rules for a particular car park?
Parking servis Bar can be reached on +382 30 326 000. Give the car park name or street and ask whether paid parking is in operation, how to buy a ticket and which rules apply at that location.
Where is the Parking servis Bar office?
The office is at Rista Lekica Street A6. Its published opening hours are Monday to Friday, from 7 am to 3 pm. These are not parking charging hours or the address for collecting a towed vehicle.
Do the map links mark vehicle entrances?
The links identify parking locations. They have not been confirmed as directions to the exact vehicle entrance, so follow the traffic signs on the final approach. In Old Bar in particular, a parking location does not give permission to drive through the bazaar.
