01Parking for the museums and Cetinje Monastery
The tourist car park by Cipur is next to the museum complex and Cetinje Monastery. From the car park, it is about 100 metres to the King Nikola Museum, Biljarda and the Ethnographic Museum, about 150 metres to the monastery and about 250 metres to the Government House. There is also a tourist information point at the car park.
02Parking for Njegoseva Street
Trg umjetnika is a car park for Njegoseva Street, at a separate location from the tourist car park by Cipur. It is also known as Studentski trg. These two names refer to the same car park.
03Parking at Balsica Pazar
There are two parking stretches along Balsica Pazar, between Njegoseva and Bajova streets. The northern and southern stretches serve visits to the market and shopping in this part of Cetinje.
04Parking by the Municipality
The parking by the Municipality is on Bajova Street, at its junction with Vojvode Batrica Martinovica Street. Bajova is labelled Baja Pivljanina on maps. The car park is at this junction, separate from the municipal building's address.
05Parking by the Sports Centre
The Sports Centre has separate parking areas in front of and behind the building. The front car park is on the side facing Grahovska Street and the roundabout, while the rear car park is on the north side of the centre, with access from Vojvode Boza Street.
06Parking at Lipa Cave
Lipa Cave parking is on the visitor plateau in Lipa Dobrska, outside Cetinje's city centre. Transport to the cave departs from this plateau and returns to the same place. The organiser requires arrival at the car park at least 30 minutes before the tour departs.
Parking charges, penalty notices and vehicle towing
The statutory fine for prohibited parking or obstructing traffic is €100-€300. A penalty notice specifies the minimum sum in this range. This fine is distinct from the parking charge for an unpaid street-zone ticket.
Paying a penalty notice
Under the usual procedure, accepting responsibility allows payment of half the fine within eight days of accepting the notice. For a €100 notice, the reduced amount is €50.
There is an exception for someone with no permanent or temporary residence in Montenegro, or someone leaving the country, if the competent authority reasonably suspects that enforcement will be evaded. In those circumstances, two-thirds of the fine is payable without delay. Follow the sum and payment details on the notice issued to you.
If your vehicle is no longer where you left it, call Komunalno Cetinje on +382 41 238 225 for information about the parking service. Ask for the responsible service's contact details and the vehicle's location before going to collect it.

Questions about parking in Cetinje
Is parking at Lipa Cave charged separately?
Parking is included in the price of a Lipa Cave tour ticket. This applies to parking for cave visitors, not to the city car parks in Cetinje.
Which navigation destination should I choose for Lipa Cave?
The organiser recommends the destination "Lipa cave parking" and the approach via Belveder. Searching only for "Lipa cave" may lead you along a different, poorer road. The destination should be the plateau for parking and buying tickets.
Do I need an advance reservation for parking and a Lipa Cave tour?
No advance reservation is required. Tickets are bought at the ticket office on the parking plateau and, according to the organiser's published instructions, are not available to buy online.
